About this translation

This English version is provided for information and convenience. The Spanish version is the official legal text and prevails in the event of any discrepancy.

1. Purpose and scope

These Terms and Conditions govern access to www.amaruritual.com, information requests, bookings, payments and the services offered by AMARU RITUAL.

INVERSIONES AMARU S.A.S. is referred to as “AMARU”; the person using the website or making a purchase as the “User”; and the person receiving the ritual as the “Guest”.

2. Acceptance

The User accepts these terms by selecting the corresponding checkbox before completing a booking or payment. The website must allow them to be reviewed, printed or downloaded.

AMARU will retain evidence of the accepted version, date, time and related booking. Users who disagree must refrain from contracting.

3. Booking requirements

Services are exclusively for persons aged eighteen (18) or older who have legal capacity to contract.

  • The User must provide truthful, complete and current information.
  • The payment method must belong to the User or be authorized by its holder.
  • When purchasing for someone else, the Guest must personally accept these terms and provide their own consent.
  • For couples experiences, every participant must be an adult and consent individually.

4. Nature of the services

AMARU offers body-wellness, relaxation, reconnection and intimate-awareness experiences as described for each ritual.

Rituals are not sexual services, do not include sexual acts with therapists or staff, and do not replace medical, psychological, physiotherapy or sexology care. They are not diagnoses and do not guarantee specific outcomes.

When an allied professional participates, the provider, scope and applicable conditions will be disclosed beforehand.

5. Information provided before each ritual

Before booking, the website will clearly state the ritual, included services, approximate duration, location, total price, availability, relevant restrictions and payment, cancellation and rescheduling conditions.

Photographs and settings are illustrative and do not alter the expressly stated essential characteristics of the service.

6. Booking process

Selecting a date or time does not itself confirm a booking. Before payment, the website will display a summary that can be reviewed and corrected.

  • The User completes the requested information.
  • The User accepts these Terms and Conditions.
  • The User makes the required payment or deposit.
  • AMARU sends confirmation by email, WhatsApp or the platform.

Confirmation will state at least the ritual, date, time, location, duration, amount paid and any outstanding balance. Errors must be reported immediately.

7. Prices, payments and invoicing

Prices will be shown in Colombian pesos and include all known mandatory taxes and charges before purchase.

AMARU will not charge undisclosed or unaccepted amounts. Payment approval may depend on the financial institution or payment gateway.

An electronic invoice will be issued when legally required, using the information supplied by the User.

8. Availability and therapist assignment

Bookings are subject to schedule, venue and staff availability. A specific therapist is guaranteed only when named in the confirmation.

If a confirmed therapist is unavailable, the User may choose another available therapist, a new date or a full refund for the unprovided service.

AMARU may replace secondary elements for safety, availability or force-majeure reasons when this does not change the nature or essential quality of the ritual.

9. Rescheduling, cancellations and no-shows

9.1 Rescheduling by the User

The User may reschedule once without penalty by requesting it through the PQR channel or customer-service channel at least twenty-four (24) hours in advance. The new date is subject to availability and must fall within sixty (60) calendar days.

9.2 Timely cancellation

With at least twenty-four (24) hours’ notice, the User may choose a full refund or credit for the same amount. Refunds will be made within fifteen (15) calendar days after the required information is supplied.

9.3 Late cancellation

With less than twenty-four (24) hours’ notice, AMARU may retain fifty percent (50%) for costs and blocked availability. The remaining fifty percent (50%) will be refunded or credited, at the User’s choice.

9.4 No-show

If the Guest does not attend or give notice before the confirmed time, AMARU may retain the full booking value. Demonstrable force majeure may be considered for rescheduling but does not create an automatic obligation.

These rules do not limit withdrawal rights, payment reversal, refunds for AMARU’s breach or other non-waivable consumer rights.

10. Cancellation or change by AMARU

If AMARU cannot provide the service for an operational reason attributable to it, the User may reschedule or receive a full refund for the unprovided service.

For force majeure or unforeseen events, AMARU will provide timely notice and offer rescheduling or a refund as appropriate.

11. Right of withdrawal

Where legally applicable, the User may withdraw within five (5) business days after entering the contract without stating a reason.

The request must be submitted through the PQR channel and include the information needed to identify the booking and process the refund.

Withdrawal does not apply after performance has begun with the User’s agreement. If the ritual begins before the five-day period expires, AMARU will request express consent to start on the chosen date.

Where applicable, all amounts will be returned without deductions within a maximum of fifteen (15) calendar days after the right is exercised and the necessary information is provided.

12. Payment reversal

For electronic payments, the User may request reversal in cases established by law, including fraud, unauthorized transactions, non-delivery, a service different from the one purchased or breach of disclosed conditions.

The claim must be submitted to AMARU and the payment instrument issuer notified within five (5) business days after learning of the transaction or event. Article 51 of Law 1480 of 2011 and Decree 587 of 2016 apply.

13. Punctuality

Guests must arrive at the confirmed time. A late arrival may shorten the ritual so later bookings are not affected, without entitlement to a discount.

A delay exceeding thirty (30) minutes may be treated as a no-show unless there is availability to provide the full service.

14. Health and safety information

Before the ritual, the Guest must disclose any relevant safety condition, including pregnancy, injuries, recent surgery, allergies, cardiovascular disease, skin conditions, acute pain, medical restrictions, relevant medication or recent alcohol or psychoactive-substance use.

AMARU may adapt, reschedule or decline the service where there is reasonable risk and may request medical advice when necessary.

The Guest must provide truthful information; AMARU remains responsible for acting with quality, safety and diligence.

15. Consent and body boundaries

Booking and payment do not constitute unlimited bodily consent. Before beginning, the therapist will explain the ritual, principal techniques, areas involved, boundaries and the right to stop or modify the experience.

Where a ritual expressly includes mindful touch of an external intimate area, its purpose is wellbeing and body awareness. It excludes penetration, masturbation, sexual exchange and the Guest touching the therapist’s body.

Mindful touch requires prior, express, specific and current consent; it may be refused or stopped at any time and occurs only within AMARU’s authorized protocol.

Silence, payment, nudity, lack of objection or prior authorization never replace current consent. Therapists may also set boundaries and stop the service.

16. Prohibited conduct

  • Requesting sexual acts or services.
  • Touching a therapist without authorization.
  • Harassment, threats, violence, intimidation or discrimination.
  • Offering money or benefits to alter ritual boundaries.
  • Recording, photographing or broadcasting without authorization.
  • Arriving in a condition that prevents understanding or respecting boundaries.
  • Carrying weapons or dangerous items.
  • Identity fraud or unauthorized payment methods.
  • Damaging AMARU facilities, equipment or property.
  • Using team members’ personal data for unauthorized contact.

17. Suspension of service

AMARU or the therapist may immediately stop the service if boundaries are breached, harassment or violence occurs, the Guest cannot validly consent, a health or safety risk is identified, or relevant information was concealed.

For serious misconduct by the Guest, AMARU need not continue the ritual or refund the portion already provided. Any retention for the unprovided portion must be reasonable, proportionate and respect consumer rights.

When the suspension results from a health or safety situation not caused by misconduct, AMARU will assess rescheduling or a proportional refund.

AMARU may refuse future bookings after serious breaches.

18. At-home services

For at-home services, the User must provide an accurate address, ensure authorized access and provide a private, clean, safe and suitable space.

AMARU may decline or stop a service when privacy, hygiene, respect or safety conditions are not met. Travel charges must be disclosed and accepted before payment.

19. Quality and liability

AMARU is responsible for the quality, suitability and safety of its services under Colombian law.

AMARU is not responsible for consequences caused exclusively by false or omitted information, failure to follow safety instructions, the Guest’s sole conduct or duly demonstrated force majeure.

Nothing excludes AMARU’s liability for its own act or omission or limits non-waivable consumer rights.

20. Requests, complaints and claims

Users may submit requests, complaints, claims, withdrawal requests or refund requests through the PQR channel at www.amaruritual.com.

The channel must provide a filing number, date and time, proof of receipt and a tracking mechanism. Direct consumer claims will be answered within fifteen (15) business days unless a special rule provides otherwise.

Users may contact Colombia’s Superintendence of Industry and Commerce (SIC) if they believe their rights have been infringed.

Access the SIC online office
The electronic filing and tracking channel is being implemented. The contingency channels published in the PQRS section are currently available.

21. Personal data

Personal data is processed under AMARU’s Privacy and Personal Data Processing Policy.

Sensitive health, intimate-life or body-boundary data requires express authorization and enhanced protection. Advertising consent is separate and optional.

22. Intellectual property

Website texts, photographs, designs, trademarks, logos, videos and other content belong to AMARU or are used with permission. Personal viewing is allowed; copying, modification, commercial exploitation or misrepresentation as one’s own is prohibited without authorization.

23. Amendments

AMARU may update these terms for legal, operational or commercial reasons. Each version will show its update date and remain available for review and download.

Confirmed bookings are governed by the version accepted at contracting unless mandatory law provides otherwise or a change is more favorable to the consumer.

24. Applicable law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Colombia. No clause waives non-waivable consumer rights.

If any provision is invalid or unenforceable, all remaining provisions remain effective.

Annex 1. Website acceptance checkboxes

Required checkbox☐ I declare that I am at least eighteen (18) years old and have read and accept the AMARU RITUAL Terms and Conditions.
Early start of service☐ I expressly request that the service begin on the selected date and understand that the right of withdrawal will no longer apply once performance begins with my agreement.

Additional information will be requested only when essential. Correctable formal errors will not cause rejection.

For personal-data claims, missing information will be requested within five business days. Failure to complete the claim within two months after the request is treated as withdrawal.

While essential information is pending, the status is “Awaiting information”; statutory periods are suspended only where the law allows.

11. Confidentiality and protection

PQRS information is handled under AMARU’s Privacy and Personal Data Processing Policy.

  • Access is limited to personnel who need the information.
  • Sensitive data is never used for advertising.
  • Therapist, Guest and third-party information is protected against unjustified access or disclosure.

  • No retaliation is permitted for a respectful request or cooperation with an investigation.

12. Safety, consent or boundary cases

Reports of harassment, unauthorized contact, violence, discrimination, privacy, consent or safety receive priority and restricted access.

AMARU may take preventive measures while reviewing the facts without prejudging conclusions or unjustifiably affecting those involved.

This channel does not replace emergency services or reports to authorities. For immediate danger in Colombia, call 123.

13. Anonymous requests

AMARU may receive anonymous suggestions or reports. Missing contact details can prevent verification, an individual response or the exercise of rights requiring identity confirmation.

14. Disagreement with a response

The requester may ask for clarification or review using the same filing number.

This does not limit access to the SIC or another competent authority. For personal-data matters, the prior process before AMARU must be exhausted where required by law.
